Bob Boldt is the Director of Golf at Boundary Oak Golf Course in Walnut Creek, California.
He has been playing and teaching golf for over 30 years and is a former member of the PGA
and Senior PGA Tours. Bob has multiple International and PGA tournament wins, including the
all-time largest margin of victory in the NorCal Open (10 shots) and he still holds the record
for low score on the Senior PGA Tour (on a par 72 course) with a 62, including 8 birdies
and 2 eagles, at the 1990 MONY Classic in Phoenix, Arizona. He was also the Senior PGA Tour
Driving Distance leader in 1988.
Bob is one of the best known golf professionals in Northern California, having taught many
of today's top professional and amateur players, and was recognized by the PGA of America for his
contributions to junior golf, winning the "1999 Junior Golf Leader Award" in the Northern
California section.
Boundary Oak Golf Course is known as one of the best
public facilities in Northern California, having been voted "Best Golf Course in the
Bay Area" by the Readers of The Contra Costa Times, "Number One public golf
course in the East Bay" by Diablo Magazine and rated "Best Course
for the Price in Northern California" by The San Francisco Chronicle. Along with these awards
Boundary Oak also boasts the most impressive staff of teaching professionals in Northern
California, with career prize money earnings of over $1 million dollars.
